Ministry Purpose & goals

The mission of the Café Grace Servers is to welcome congregants to the Fellowship Hall following Sunday morning worship services.  A team of four volunteers make and serve coffee, tea, and water and prepare trays of cookies and other sweets (including gluten free and sugar-free choices).  Items served are pre-purchased by the kitchen stewards.  Written guidelines are set by email a few days prior to serving regarding serving and safety protocols and a reminder of their commitment.

Serving in Café Grace offers a great opportunity to meet fellow members and guests as they join in fellowship following worship.

WHEN WE MEET

The team arrives 45 minutes prior to the service, prepares coffee and fills the trays and water pitchers.  Tables are checked to ensure that condiments are in the containers at each table.  The team returns to the kitchen after the service to serve and make members and visitors feel welcome.  After guests leave, the team will ensure that the kitchen and Fellowship Hall are clean and ready for the next event.
