Ministry Purpose & Goals

The mission of the ushers is to make everyone feel welcome and a part of the Spirit of Grace family.

Ushers greet members and visitors, hand out bulletins, and communion packets as members enter the sanctuary.

Serving as an usher is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow members and make visitors feel welcome. 

WHEN WE MEET

Forty-five (45) minutes before the start of an in-person worship service, the ushers arrive to meet with the head usher.  The head usher will assign the various duties for: door greeters, bulletin distribution, communion element distribution, assistance with seating, handling the  offerings and collections, and other tasks as may be assigned for the Church service.
