Sunday, May 3rd, 2pm
Come tap your toes and sway along to the stylings of Duane’s Dukes of Dixieland on Sunday, May 3rd at 2 p.m.
Consisting of 6 talented musicians who love to get together and make good musical sounds, this Dixieland band will delight you with their instrumentation patterned after traditional New Orleans-style Dixie bands. Their library is made up of traditional songs like “When the Saints Go Marching In” and “Swing Low Sweet Chariot”. Gospel tunes are a big part of their repertoire, and they’ll include songs like “This Little Light of Mine”, “Do Lord”, and “Just a Closer Walk With Thee”, and regular church hymns like “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, “Amazing Grace” and The Old Rugged Cross”. All will be performed in the traditional Dixie band style. And some you will even sing along with!
Tickets for this very fun concert are free and can be reserved by calling the Spirit of Grace Fellowship Phone at 480-438-1115. A free-will offering will be taken. The doors will open at 1:30 and the concert begins at 2:00. We hope to see you there!
